"Castle Run"
Gastronomy is always a hugely important part of the Touring Trophy. At Retroschaft we believe the best trips are made from the combination of great roads, good food, fantastic company and a bit of culture. For the "Castle Run" we let drivers delve into the wonders of the middle ages as we drove past no less than 13 mid-century castles. And the best part? The destination, and overnight accomodation, was the Chateau Fort de Sedan, also known as the biggest fortified castle in all of Europe.
"The Revival"
"Motor racing was born from the moment the second car was built."
Europe is home to an extraodinarily rich history of automotive manufacturing as well as motorsport. Back when racing was in its infancy, there were hardly any dedicated circuits around. The solution? Select a set of public roads and temporarily make them into a full blown race track. Europe was once littered with these so called "street tracks", however, with safety regulations becoming more and more severe, many of those street tracks eventually had to close their doors. Today, the remnants of these legends of the past are scattered all around Europe and in our Touring Trophy "The Revival", drivers got to experience three of those lost but not forgotten street tracks.
